Internet Diplomacy: Canada and Denmark have taken out internet ads claiming sovereignty over Hans Island, which both Canada and Denmark claim. (A Canadian professor has an article on it, saying that Vikings are trying to take over Canada.)

I may have mentioned the Textile Museum before... surprisingly, I have been there more than once, and even more surprisingly it actually had some stuff I found pretty interesting. Anyway, Wired had an article on extreme fabrics that are on display in NY, which reminded me of the one we have here in DC. If you ever get hot or dehydrated walking around the embassies up past Dupont, the Textile Museum also has nice cold water.

On another note, children who smoke tend to have children with worse behavior, according to a new study. This may be of greater concern for parents in the UK, who teachers think should be held accountable for their children's misbehavior. They are lucky they won't be held accountable by this judge, whose cases have been overturned because of his irritable behavior.
