London Calling: I'd always heard London was the most expensive place in the world, but according to this Guardian article, it is actually the most economical place for students (in England). Why? Because they get paid more (ie: no unpaid internships.)

And I just read about a new book, whose main character comes from London, being hyped; which I have to admit caught my interest, particularly in light of the fact that the author is unknown, and communicates only via a scrambled phone... clearly, I'm a sucker for mysteries, especially real life ones. I definitely hope to read the book before the identity of the author is uncovered.
