Economics: Santorum is just too easy to dislike. Here's a little something on his economic hypocrisy that I thought was pretty good, and would love to hear you economists comment on. On the issue of economics, Slate also has an article on whether movie theatres are facing extinction. I have to say that I do not go to the movies very often, I have Netflix and almost always wait for the DVD. I did go to the Arlington Cinema & Draft House this weekend, for my first movie experience in the DC area, and it was great. I saw the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which is hilarious, and I highly recommend, and tickets are only $5 (amazing for DC), and seats are comfortable enough to sit in for 2 hours, unlike most movie theatres. There's a story on a Russian making Soviet-era trash into art.
Once again, I came across a reference to Greensboro, this time in a NYT article... of course it has a religious zealot component. The article is about religious electives in schools.
